Description
Here we have a beautiful 9ct Rolex Precision gentleman’s dress watch from 1965! This watch is a good size (33mm) and has the beautiful classic white 3 – 6 – 9 dial which has a timeless contemporary feel about it. This is a 1965 hallmarked watch and it will make an excellent birthday or special anniversary present! Please ask if you would like this watch gift wrapping at no extra charge!
The Dial
The classic Rolex Crown at 12 o’clock with guilt 3 – 6 – 9 numerals, over a white dial has guilt batons at 1,2,4,5,7,8,10 and 11. The original guilt ‘alpha’ hands and ‘needle’ centre seconds hand are in excellent condition. The dial has been restored to the highest standards.
The Case
The 33mm watch case (not including the crown) is in excellent condition with no scratches or other marks visible to the naked eye.
The Movement
The high grade Cal.1215 hand wind movement with 17 jewels is known for being highly accurate and reliable. It has just been overhauled and serviced and it is sparkling condition. We have no reservations in offering a 12 months warranty with this watch. When tested immediately following a service, this watch is keeping time to within 10 seconds per day which is tremendous for a vintage watch of this age. Please note the full 12 months warranty is only applicable if list price is paid.
The Strap and Buckle
The watch comes with a new dark brown high quality Hirsch ‘croc’ leather strap* and gold plated Rolex buckle. *This our standard strap for this watch but we are able to offer you a wide choice, for example a black ‘croc’, but tan peacock strap or a green ‘croc’ are popular and we offer these with no extra cost.
Box and Papers
Although there are no original papers with this watch, it will be supplied with a full description on the detailed written receipt and 12 months warranty. A separate written valuation for insurance replacement purposes will also be included. This watch comes with the presentation box shown in the photographs.
