ABOUT THIS WATCH

Description

Now fully restored and in immaculate condition, this is the iconic and original James Bond Omega Seamaster, 1962 in solid 18 carat Yellow Gold and in the Large size 34mm diameter case not including the Omega Crown.

This one has the Seamaster emblem on the back and has a screw-back case with seal originally making it water resistant to 30 metres*.

It also has the Central Sweep-Seconds Hand with Date and the original restored Dial in immaculate condition.

It has a very clean and sparkling bright Cal 562, 24 Jewels Automatic Movement in fully working condition.

And this watch comes with its Original Box with very informative leaflet ‘You and Your Omega’ leaflet with photos and diagrams relating to the watch.

Inside the case back are 18K-0750 and two gold hallmarks proving the watch is 18 carat gold along with ‘Fab Suisse’ ‘Swiss Made’ and ‘Omega Watch Co’. The case is also hallmarked on the outside of the case seen on the inside of one of the lugs.

Fitted with a very attractive and matching new high quality padded brown leather strap with non original gold plated buckle.

Overall the watch is in good original used condition. The dial is definitely original and is totally clean to the naked eye but has the usual very light pitting marks seen under high magnification. There are some small scratches which may polish out.

The 18K solid yellow case is unmarked and in excellent condition..

*Originally specified as Water Resistant to 30 metres. This has not been tested and is not guaranteed.
