Description

In fully restored condition, this is the iconic and original James Bond Omega Seamaster, from 1964 in solid 9 carat Yellow Gold, in the Large size 34mm diameter case not including the Omega Crown.

This one has the Seamaster emblem on the back which is crisp and unworn. It also has the screw-back case with seal in place (originally) making it water resistant to 30 metres*.

This Seamaster also has the Central Sweep-Seconds hand with the original dial fully restored

It has a very clean and sparkling bright, original Cal 552, 24 Jewels Automatic Movement in absolute perfect working order.

This watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by an Omega guru and it is calibrated to run arrow straight within + & – 1 second / day! This is no exaggeration. I have seen the test results from an electronic watch test instrument and in its half wound state this watch is running accurately within 1 second per day!

Inside the case back are 9K-0750 and two gold hallmarks proving the watch is 9 carat gold along with ‘Omega Watch Co’. The case was made by Dennison in England for Omega. At the time Dennison was a specialist gold case maker for many of the major Swiss watch manufacturers.

The case is also hallmarked on the outside, seen on the inside of one of the lugs.

The case has been professionally cleaned and polished and has no scratches or marks or dents of any kind.

*Originally specified as Water Resistant to 30 metres. This has not been tested and is not guaranteed.

Fitted with a very attractive and matching new high quality Lizard skin strap with an aftermarket gold plated Omega buckle.
